Ingredients:
- 4 bell peppers (any color), tops removed and seeds removed
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef, following the instructions on the packet. Stir well to coat the meat with the seasoning.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the cooked beef mixture, dividing it equally among the peppers.
- Place the stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of each stuffed bell pepper.
- Bake the stuffed bell peppers in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the stuffed bell peppers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the Taco Stuffed Bell Peppers as a delicious and satisfying meal on their own, or with a side of rice, beans, or a salad.
